dBs, Paste Party, Stage on Sixth, Austin, 15 March 2012, SXSW 2012

dBs played good garage-rock-esque guitar pop, with a great classic-era alternative or college radio sound. They mixed up old songs and pnes from their new album. The set brought to mind The Replacements, The Go-Betweens, Tom Petty, Teenage Fanclub, Velvet Crush and lots of other bands they've no doubt influenced. They also threw in jangly Byrds-style bits and even the riff from The Monkees Stepping Stone, as well as great Beach Boys harmonies.
