The View, Wed 13 Mar, Latitude SXSW 2013

The View are a fabulous live band. This SXSW closer to Wednesday night at the Brit party lived up to all our expectations. Despite technical hitches, guitars ended up plugged straight into the amp, songs played with broken strings and the show well and truly went on. The band played plenty of new material which was well received, before closing with a cheeky trio of Superstar Tradesmen, Same Jeans and new song The Clock as their 'last two' songs. They had the Brits in the audience in high spirits to end the night, not to mention some very enthusiastic new American fans.
