Lissie, Thu 14 Mar, Radio Day Stage SXSW 2013

Melodic bluesy rock in the style of Bonnie Raitt, though nearer Carly Simon in terms of vocal style. Lissie had a strong stage presence and an engaging voice. Everywhere I Go was a really tender standout which showed off her emotional range and the quality of her voice. She closed the set with a pair of rocking songs that sounded like lost AM radio classics with great soaring guitar solos.
