CHVRCHES brought euphoric, Balearic beats and soaring vocals to the Austin sunshine. The danceable rhythm built to repeated crescendos. Their sound had an indie charm rather than the over-polished production that can come with electronic-based dance music.

The crowd lapped up the performance. The band were engaging too, although they did prompt confusion amongst those struggling to decipher their Scottish accents. 'Recover' was a set highlight.
