NO CEREMONY///, Red 7, Austin Tx, Friday March 15 2013

The first electronica-tinged act for us of this SXSW is definitely worth seeing live or hearing again.
Their set suited a daytime show and it is easy to imagine them playing a club or night slot at a festival dance tent. With their dreamy vocals, layered over electro beats, NO CEREMONY/// had hues of New Order, tinges of piano house with as slightly gothic edge. The layers give this a fascinating musical texture. This would appeal to those who like to listen as well as those who want to dance.
