Foxygen, Stages on Sixth, Weds 13 Mar, SXSW 2013

The whole band are dressed as if in 1960s Laurel Canyon period costume, and played like Echo and the Bunnymen channeling the Rocky Horror Show. Having forgotten what film I saw on the flight over two weeks ago, their outfits soon reminded me it was The Perks of Being a Wallflower. They definitely seemed one of buzz bands of SXSW judging by the crowd squeezed in to see their theatrical and fun show.
