Any opinions on Edwyn Collins? I am vaguely familiar with his work in Orange Juice and loved his hit single, Girl Like You. You also have to admire him for coming back from a severe cerebral hemorrhage. . This looks like a rare US appearance. Anyone have an opinion to share?
I only know 'Rip it up' by Orange Juice, which I always like the idea of more than I like the actual track. 'Girl Like You'was huge in the UK when it came out. I've seen some good reviews of his recent shows, though not heard any very recent. I heard him interviewed relatively shortly after the stroke when he was still learning to talk again, which was quite an emotional interview.
